Instead of our normal Saturday morning meeting on the 16th, we are having a potluck at 6pm. Come and join us!
Reminder: It’s meeting week!
Join us Saturday to hear from two special guests: Lions District Governor Ron Smircich and Backpack Buddies of Maple Valley founder Mindy Gamble!
If you haven’t been to the Facebook page for Backpack Buddies, go check them out! They help feed kids in need over the weekends during the school year. https://m.facebook.com/Backpack-Buddies-of-Maple-Valley-55…/
We’ll see you at 9 a.m. at KCSO precinct 3! (Please plan for slightly more than an hour, as Mindy will speak about Backpack Buddies starting at 10 a.m.)
Also note: The Cub Club won’t have an official meeting this week, but kids are welcome as always! We will have some activities available in the lobby, and an older Cub to supervise.
Don’t forget, our monthly meeting is tomorrow! Join us at 9 a.m. Saturday to hear all the latest on projects to help the community, fundraising plans and … wait for it … Oktoberfest! If you can’t make the regular meeting, catch up at the Thursday recap at Azafran Bistro!
If you can’t make it to the Saturday meeting, don’t worry! We will be meeting tonight to discuss items from Saturday. Come have a coffee or some wine and bring your ideas to share!
Thank you to everyone who participated in Maple Valley Days or came out and supported the Lions! It was a blast!!
Just a reminder that we are meeting on the 4th Saturday this month…June 24th! Happy last day of school, Tahoma!
We meet at the King County Sheriff’s Office, Precinct 3: 22300 SE 231st St, Maple Valley, WA 98038. We look forward to seeing you there!
